Privacy note Solar O&M Maturity Survey POPIA
Your answers stay confidential.
The short version: your individual answers are confidential, and the benchmark partners only ever see aggregated, anonymised results.
01 The note
What we collect, who sees it and how long we keep it.
- What is collected
- Your survey answers: the path that describes your organisation, and the importance, target and current levels you give in each area. Approximate ranges for site count, installed capacity and monthly budget, and where production is lost. Your contact details (name, company and email address).
- Why contact details
- So your report can be sent to you. Results are emailed within about two weeks of the survey closing.
- Who sees your answers
- SolrBoost, which developed the maturity model of the Solar Operations Maturity Institute (SOM Institute), operates the survey and is the only party that processes individual responses. Individual answers are confidential.
- What the benchmark partners receive
- The benchmark partners — the University of Cape Town, TruePoint South Africa and Partnerships for Growth (P4G) — receive aggregated, anonymised results only.
- Retention
- Raw responses are deleted 12 months after the report is issued.
- Removal
- To have your response and contact details removed, email paul@solrboost.co.za.
- The law
- Personal information is handled under South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
